Tip1: Make sure when leading a Read To Me Program, to keep handouts to a minimum. Parents are busy people and they can loose things easily. When using handouts, be sure to reference and explain them to the group while in session. For example, if giving a group a handout of suggested books to read, make sure you read one of the books from the list together so they know where they can get that information again and why the handout is of value.
